Monumento a Juan de Amezquita
Juan de Amezquita was the Puerto Rican captain who, with a group
of 50 men, managed to defend San Juan against the Dutch who invaded
during the beginnings of the 17th century. This monument honors
advocates of Puerto Rico in name of Juan de Amezquita for leading them
to victory.
